Viven - Sepsis

In this film made at 90 Degrees West for Viven Health, I teamed up with my good friend Preston Gibson to Direct, Design, and Animate a story about a boy and his dog. It's an extended metaphor for the disease Sepsis, a condition where your immune system turns on your own body. We had a blast on this one, employing 2D animation, cel animation, textures, and photo overlays to make the story as dramatic, compelling, and memorable as possible so viewer would remember to wash their hands and keep their best friend by their side and on their team.

We had a lot of fun playing with this concept and were really happy with the result. And as a cherry on top we won two Emmys at the 2018 Mid-America gala! You better bet my hands are staying clean.
